HAYK AND JULIE
This album captures everything that makes film photography so cherished: warmth, depth, and the genuine magic of each frame. The wedding was shot entirely on film, without retouching or digital editing—only authentic emotions and the beauty of moments that cannot be recreated.
The ancient monastery of Hovhannavank was not just the ceremony’s location but a living symbol of authenticity and spiritual strength. Wine, plenty of champagne, vivid details, and raw, true emotions—all of these are embodied in the images that will forever preserve the atmosphere of that day.
As a wedding photographer in Armenia, I believe film photography conveys much more than a visual image. It is a way to stop time, capturing not just events but feelings.
Shooting on film is not merely an aesthetic choice; it is a way to preserve the atmosphere with its natural light, the breath of time, and authenticity.
The ancient Ovanavank, the taste of champagne, the touch of hands, laughter, delicate details—all remain in the frames exactly as they were. Nothing extra. Simple and honest.
These photographs hold a sense of the real that cannot be replicated.
