SHAUN AND FARNAZ
Shaun and Farnaz’s wedding was one of those days that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer in Armenia.
Shaun is from Belgium. Farnaz is Iranian. They chose Armenia as the place where their worlds meet — and it felt symbolic in the most honest way. A wedding without borders. Love without borders.
Their celebration took place at Armenia Wine, surrounded by strong Armenian architecture, vineyards, light stone, and warm air filled with laughter. European elegance intertwined naturally with Iranian traditions, creating an atmosphere that felt both refined and deeply emotional. Nothing was forced. Everything flowed.
As a photographer, I felt more like a witness than an observer. The guests were incredibly active — smiling, dancing, hugging, raising glasses of champagne without waiting for a cue. Energy was everywhere. Real joy. The kind you can’t stage. The kind you only capture if you feel it yourself.
The cake, the champagne, the spontaneous moments between Shaun and Farnaz — quiet looks, loud laughter, hands finding each other in the middle of chaos. This is what destination weddings in Armenia are about. Not just beautiful locations, but stories that connect cultures, families, and hearts.
This wedding was not about traditions alone. It was about two people choosing each other, choosing a country with soul, and creating a day that felt alive from the first moment to the last.
As a wedding photographer based in Armenia, these are the stories I want to tell — honest, emotional, international weddings where love speaks louder than language.
